GlamGo Privacy Policy

GlamGo ("we", "us") operates the GlamGo mobile app (the "App"), a marketplace that connects beauty clients with beauty artists. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. By using the App you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account info — email address, display name, role (client or artist), and password (stored securely by Firebase Authentication; we never see your raw password).
- Profile content — for artists: business name, handle, location/service area, bio, services offered, prices, and portfolio photos. For clients: display name and any photos you post.
- Bookings & invoices — appointments you make or receive, and invoices artists create.
- Content you post — feed photos, captions, comments, ratings, and reviews.
- Messages — chat messages you send to other users.
- Location — if you allow it, your approximate location to show nearby artists. You can decline and choose a location manually instead.
- Device & usage data — standard technical data (e.g. crash logs) used to keep the App running.
How we use your information
- To operate the App: create your account, show artists, enable bookings, invoices, messaging, and payments for artist memberships.
- To keep the community safe: review reported content and enforce our rules.
- To improve reliability and fix problems.
How information is shared
- With other users — your public profile, posts, and (for artists) directory listing are visible to other GlamGo users. Messages are shared with the person you message.
- Service providers — we use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database) to store data securely, and Apple for subscription billing. We do not sell your personal information.
- Legal — we may disclose information if required by law.
Subscriptions
Artist memberships are billed through your Apple App Store account. Apple processes the payment; we do not receive your card details. See Apple's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
Your choices & rights
- Delete your account — you can permanently delete your account and profile at any time in the App under Profile → Delete account.
- Location — you can turn off location access in your device settings.
- Access/correction — edit your profile in the App, or contact us for other requests.
Content moderation
Users can report content and block other users in the App. We review reports and remove content that violates our rules. Do not post explicit, illegal, or harmful content.
Children
GlamGo is not intended for anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Data retention & security
We keep your data while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account. Data is stored using Google Firebase's secured infrastructure.
